JAMMU, Nov 24: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu organised its Annual Sports Meet 2025–26 for the Primary Wing (Classes III–V), celebrating energy, teamwork and sportsmanship. The event saw enthusiastic participation from young students who showcased their athletic skills across a variety of competitions.
The programme was held in the presence of the chief guest, Ambedkar Gupta, Director and Ex-General Secretary of the Karate Association of India. His inspirational words motivated students to strive for excellence in both academics and sports. The event was presided over by the Principal, Arindam Roy Choudhury, who reaffirmed the school’s dedication to holistic education.
The sports meet began with a synchronised march past and the ceremonial lighting of the torch, setting an atmosphere of pride and excitement. Students from Grades III to V participated in track and field events, including sprints, hurdles, and engaging fun races. Colourful drill performances added vibrancy to the morning.
Winners were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their hard work and talent. The chief guest praised the school’s commitment to nurturing young sportspersons. The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking a memorable celebration of youthful sporting spirit.
