GD Goenka organizes Counseling Session

JAMMU, July 28: GD Goenka Public School organized a 3-day Counseling Session, which concluded here today.
The resource persons from the Institute for Career Studies, Lucknow- Deepali Srivastav and Rashmi Talwar conducted the session. The students were given aptitude test specially designed by the world renowned founder person of the Institute for Career Studies, Dr Amrita Dass.
The students were shown a presentation explaining the careers and avenues available to the students in the present day world on the first day of the session, while on the second day the students of 9th and 10th class were given separate aptitude tests to analyze the field in which they could excel.
After the screening of the students, individual counseling of each student was conducted by the resource persons and final advice regarding suitable career option was given to every student in writing.
On the concluding day, the counsellors interacted with the parents of the students and briefed them about the career prospects of their wards.
On behalf of the Principal, Poonam Jha and Chairperson, Sanya Bansal, the vote of thanks was presented by HoD English.
