JAMMU, Oct 20: To inculcate moral values in a child, the GD Goenka Public School Jammu celebrated a Week on Moral Values from October 15 to October 20 in the School premises, here.
Various programmes like Garba, devotional songs, skits etc were presented by the children.
A quotation related to moral values was served to the students everyday during the week.
The students also collected toys, old clothes and dry snacks and donated them to the Old Age Home, Orphanage and to the students of Home for Mentally Challenged Children.
They had also contributed some money which was used to donate sweaters and pullovers to Class- IVth staff of the School, who are always at their disposal during the School hours.
School Principal, Poonam Jha spoke to the children on the occasion and stressed upon them to imbibe moral values to become responsible citizens.
