JAMMU, Nov 22: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2025 for Classes 1 and 2 with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from young Goenkans. The event was graced by chief guest Pallavi Mishra, SDM Marh and guest of honour Surya Bhanu Partap Singh, renowned Wushu champion and multiple-time national and international medalist. School Principal Arindam Roy Choudhury and coordinators also attended, motivating the young athletes.
The programme began with Saraswati Vandana and Ganesh Vandana, followed by an energetic performance by the school orchestra. Students showcased discipline and fitness with Surya Namaskar and competed in thrilling races including Hurdle Race, Coconut Race, Build and Bulldozer Race and Baton Relay. Teamwork was highlighted through Hopla Drill, Dumbbell Drill and Parachute Activity.
The day concluded with a vote of thanks by coordinator Nishita Sharma, appreciating the efforts of students, staff, and dignitaries.
