JAMMU, Sept 30: Govt College for Women (GCW) Parade once again showed its supremacy and lifted the title trophy by defeating Govt College for Women Gandhi Nagar in the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (W) Tournament 2015-16, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Varsity Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the final match both the teams played well in the first half but later Poonam and Kajal played superbly and led the Govt. College for Women Parade team to win by a margin of 15 points (27-12).
Prof. Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who presented the trophy to Govt. College for Women, Parade.
Sumnesh Sharma, Suman Lata, Romesh Sharma, Dr. Brij Baloria, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar and Jai Bharat were present on the occasion.
The final match was officiated by Keshav Singh, Harpal Singh, Gagan Kumar, Payush Singh and Manmohan Singh.
