JAMMU, Nov 27: Padma Shri Padma Sachdev (PSPS) GCW Gandhi Nagar hosted a programme to formally induct the newly elected College Presidium for the academic session 2025-26. The event was held at the college auditorium and attended by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Dr. Rabia Javed, Convenor, Students Welfare Committee, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests.
The ceremony marked the official handover of leadership roles, instilling a sense of responsibility among student leaders. Newly elected members, including President Lavanya Jamwal, Vice President Shailja Singh, General Secretary Kashish Misri, Cultural Secretary Arya Sharma, Sports Secretary Sona Singh, and Treasurer Arkashuta Sharma, received their badges and sashes. The Oath of Office was administered by Lavanya Jamwal, pledging integrity, dedication, and service.
Former presidium members shared their experiences, while Dr. Andotra inspired the new council to lead by example. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, a ceremonial torch handover, and a vibrant campus procession, celebrating leadership, unity, and commitment to the college community.
