New Delhi, July 11: Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar, who was appointed as interim president of IPL-7, has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India complaining that he has not been paid salary for the period.
Gavaskar wanted orders from the apex court for release of his salary by the BCCI. Gavaskar was appointed interim president of BCCI for conducting IPL-7.
BCCI vice-president from South Zone Shivlal Yadav was named as interim president by the apex court for conducting other routine affairs of BCCI following the removal of N Srinivasan as BCCI chief till the completion of probe in IPL spot-fixing scandal. (UNI)
