Gatka Association organizes camp at KC Sports Club

Jammu, Nov 24: The Jammu & Kashmir Gatka Association affiliated with the Gatka Federation of India launched the 5-day basic Training Camp at KC Sports Club, which entered its 4th day, here today.
The Camp was earlier inaugurated by Ravinder Singh, president of the J&K Gatka Association and Manmeet Singh, chairman of the Association in an impressive function. Ravinder Singh, general secretary of the Association was also present on the occasion.
Nearly 100 students from different schools and colleges of Jammu started their training in the Camp under the supervision of  Vinaydeep Singh, National Referee of Gatka and Shri Amarjeet Singh, a Diploma holder in this indigenous form of martial arts. The first training session was held in the spacious multi-purpose hall of KC Sports Club. During Camp, the players went through a rigorous training to prepare for the State and National level of Gatka competitions.
