GANDERBAL, Jan 21: Two judokas from District Ganderbal, Aisha Hassan and Rafushiya Rashid, made the region proud by winning medals at the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2024-2025 held in Pune. Aisha bagged the silver medal, while Rafushiya earned the bronze medal in their respective weight categories.
Both athletes were trained by Rahil Shafi, a Khelo India Judo Coach, whose expertise played a crucial role in their success. The team was accompanied by Coach Vikas Dogra, Shakti Gupta and Manager Manish Chatwal.
