JAMMU, Mar 28: The Annual Sports Meet – 2026 of the J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu commenced today at a positive note in which the spirit of sportsmanship was showcased by the advocates from all the 10 district of Jammu province.
The sports meet was inaugurated by president of Bar Association Nirmal K Kotwal (Senior Advocate) along with general secretary Pardeep Manjotra, joint secretary Anshu Mahajan and treasurer Rahul Aggarwal.
On day one of the tournament, four cricket matches were played. The first match was played between Legal Hawks and Phoenix XI, in which while chasing, Phoenix XI led by Pravesh Singh Thakur won the match.
The second match was played between Pathania Cricket Club and Regal XI, in which Regal XI, the team led by Sidhant Gupta won in a close match with victory margin of 1 run.
The third match was played between Legal A Stars and Udhampur XI in which Legal A Stars led by Senior Advocate Pranav Kohli won the match while defending the target.
The last match of the day was played between Legal Warriors and Royal Titans in which Legal Warriors led by Rahul Aggarwal won the match while defending the target.
The matches were attended by a battery of lawyers including both senior and young members of the Bar.
