Fencing: JU bags bronze in epee boys team event

JAMMU, Feb 4: Jammu University bagged bronze medal in the epee boys team event of the 4-day All India Inter-University Fencing Championship, which got underway at Punjabi University Patiala in Punjab, today.
The winning team included Sahib Gupta from PG, Jammu University, Vir Sangram Singh Charak of MAM College, Maheshwar Sharma of New Modern College and Anoop Jyoti of Government Degree College Dharamari.
The gold medal in this event went to Punjabi University, while the silver was bagged by Dr Baba Sahib Ambedkar University.
Ajay Khartol and Varun Slathia are accompanying the team as coach and manager respectively.
