DODA, June 23: In a pre-quarterfinal clash of the martyr’s memorial tournament organized by Doda Police, Fearless Knight Team Doda defeated Dronacharya Academy Doda by 7 wickets at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Ghat, here today.
Batting first, Dronacharya Academy set a target of 87 runs in 12 overs. Fearless Knight chased it down in just 9.2 overs, with Captain Vikas scoring 47 runs, supported by Waseem Zargar (16) and Salman Sheikh (10). In bowling, Harjot Singh starred with 4 wickets, earning Man of the Match, while Asrar, Ravinder, and Ranveer Singh also impressed. The tournament, held in memory of martyrs, promotes sports and aims to steer youth away from drugs while highlighting local talent.
