JAMMU, July 12: Three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘New Age Teaching Technique’ organized by Dogra Degree College under the aegis of its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with ICT Academy, concluded here today with a valedictory session.
The final day of FDP focused on practical learning, hands-on demonstrations and faculty presentations. Participants showcased their work on the newly launched teaching content websites, demonstrating the use of advanced PPT tools, blog creation and digital content sharing techniques.
The session explored modern online pedagogical tools such as PHET.Colorado, Edu.aide.ai and Gravitywrite, providing educators with accessible and impactful platforms to enhance interactive learning in classroom. These tools received an enthusiastic response, as faculty engaged in live demonstrations and collaborative discussions on how to integrate them effectively into their teaching practices.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, who presented a memento of appreciation to the resource person, Aruljothi A.P, Soft Skills Trainer from ICT Academy.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Pranika Gupta.
The session was also graced by the presence of Dr. Bela Thakur, Director, Dogra Group of Colleges; Dr. Dharamveer Sharma, Dean, Dogra Group of Colleges; Dr. Jay Prakash Srivastav, Principal, Dogra Law College; Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education and Dr. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator and IQAC Convener, Dogra College of Education.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of National Anthem.
