JAMMU, Jan 2: An exhibition Hockey match was organized at Bandhu Rakh Stadium in memory of Shaheedi Diwas of Chaar Sahibzade & Mata Gujri Ji, honouring their unparalleled sacrifice. The event was jointly hosted by Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club and Sikh Noujwan Sabha Bandhu Rakh as a tribute to their legacy.
The match, played between Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club and Sahil Hockey Club, ended in a 3-3 draw during regulation time, with Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club winning by 2-1 in the penalty shootout. The contest showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and sportsmanship from both teams.
The event was graced by chief guest Arti Bhardwaj (Tehsildar Jammu South), Rajeev Sharma, Jaswant Singh (President Gurudwara Sahib Bandhu Rakh) and other dignitaries. Trophies were awarded to both teams, celebrating their efforts.
