JAMMU, Nov 15: JP World School, Jammu, witnessed an inspiring day of cricketing excellence as former cricketer Iqbal Siddiqui visited the campus for an interactive training session with students of the JP Cricket Academy and the school cricket team.
The session provided budding cricketers with valuable insights into discipline, technique, and sportsmanship, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. The event was graced by Ashok Singh Manhas, Director JP World School; Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary, Chairperson JP World School; Varinder Sharma, Head Mentor JP Cricket Academy; and Aditya Pratap Singh Jamwal, current Ranji Trophy player representing the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Team.
A formal introduction highlighted Siddiqui’s achievements in Indian domestic cricket as a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, generating excitement among students and staff. The programme also underscored the vision of the JP Cricket Academy, inaugurated by cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya, which aims to nurture emerging talent through professional coaching. Siddiqui engaged with students on-field, offering personalized guidance and motivational tips.
