JAMMU, July 30: The Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) is organizing selection trials to pick the best Under-15 Volleyball players for the upcoming School Games Federation of India (SGFI) coaching camp. This camp will prepare the national team for the World School Volleyball Championship (U-15) scheduled to be held in China from December 4 to 13, 2025.
According to Director Anuradha Gupta, district-level trials will take place on August 14, followed by division-level trials on August 16. Selected players from Jammu and Kashmir divisions will attend a coaching camp at Khel Gaon, Nagrota from August 18 to 21, where the final team for national-level trials will be chosen.
As per notice issued students studying in Classes 6 to 12, born on or after January 1, 2010, are eligible to participate. Players must bring valid age proof, school identity cards and an eligibility form signed by their school principal.
