REASI, May 13: Department of Youth Services & Sports Zone Reasi organised an Inter School tournament in the discipline of Yoga, Chess, Carrom, Rope Skipping and Badminton here today.
Ashok Kumar Kernia, Principal BHSS Reasi was the chief guest on the occasion along with Senior Lecturer Pritam Kumar. Incharge ZPEO Reasi briefed about the purpose of the event and said this was the first time where more than 40 schools and 400 students participated in the tournament.
The results were Chess-U14; Kanhaiya Raina (Amba Kids Home Penthal) won the title. U17- Tanmay Jamwal of DPS Katra won; Rope Skipping – U14; Ishant Singh 1st ( Gurukul HSS Reasi), Bhanu Kumar 2nd (Middle School Lower Seela) Sahil Sharma 3rd( BMS Katra). U17- Jagir Singh Ist (MS Upper Seela), Karan Kumar 2nd ( MS Hansali) and Ram Kumar 3rd (MS Sherpur).
