DYSS Poonch holds Cyclothon Rally

POONCH, July 15: As part of the ongoing Fit India Campaign, the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Poonch, organized a Cyclothon Rally today. The initiative was conducted in accordance with the guidelines issued by Anuradha Gupta, Director General, Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and Kashmir UT.
The rally commenced from Sports Stadium Poonch, with enthusiastic participation from students representing various educational institutions and coaching academies. The event aimed to promote fitness, health awareness, and an active lifestyle among the youth of the district.
The rally was conducted under the leadership of Incharge ZPEO Poonch, Sarla Bakshi, with active assistance from coaches Pawan Kumar (PEL), Harjeet Kour (PEM), Rajinder Singh (PEM) and Gurdev Singh (PET). Their efforts ensured smooth execution and high participant morale throughout the event.
Overall supervision was provided by DYSSO Poonch, Mohd Qasim, with Vijay Kumar (PEM) acting as the Activity Incharge. The event reflected the department’s strong commitment to fostering a culture of fitness in alignment with the national vision of the Fit India Movement.
