JAMMU, Oct 10: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Miran Sahib area have arrested an alleged drug peddler and recovered 21.77 grams of heroin-like-substance from his possession.
Acting on specific information, one Nirmal Jeet Singh of Ward number 04, Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib, was arrested with the contraband by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned, Inspector Azad Manhas, a police official said.
Accordingly, he said, the accused was booked in case FIR number 131/2025 under sections 8, 21, and 22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up to uncover both the backward and forward linkages of the accused, he said.
