JAMMU, May 4: Dr. Rudraksh S. Gupta, Research Fellow at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), achieved a remarkable milestone by winning three gold medals in the Aquatics Championship at the 4th Khelo India Masters Games held at Commonwealth Village, New Delhi. Competing among top athletes from across India, Dr. Gupta showcased outstanding skill and determination in the pool.
He expressed sincere gratitude to SMVDU for its continuous support, acknowledging the infrastructure and encouragement provided to balance sports with academics. Dr. Yatheshth Anand, Head of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and faculty members congratulated him, calling his success an inspiration. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pragati Kumar also praised his achievements, stating that Dr. Gupta’s victory adds pride to the university and reinforces its focus on integrating academic excellence with physical well-being.
