UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: MLA Ramnagar Dr Sunil Bhardwaj today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Synthetic Volleyball Court at Girls High School (GHS) Ramnagar, constructed at a cost of Rs 15 lakh under the UT Capex Budget.
The inauguration was marked by enthusiasm and celebration. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the chief guest participated in friendly volleyball match with students. The event was attended by the In-charge Headmaster, sports teacher Rakesh, parents, students and distinguished guests.
Reaffirming the commitment of the Modi Government, Dr Bhardwaj said that his mission is to keep youth fit, progressive, and away from drugs. Considering the rural and hilly terrain of Ramnagar, he emphasized the need to provide modern sports infrastructure and equipment to nurture young talent.
He further announced that Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for the upgradation of Raja Ram Singh Stadium, and assured that more sports facilities will be provided so that Ramnagar’s youth can compete at international levels in the future.
