DPS Jammu students shine in District Roller Skating C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 1: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu delivered an outstanding performance in the 3rd Ranking District Roller Skating Championship, bringing laurels to the school and making their parents proud. The event, organized by the J&K Roller Skating Association, was held at MA Stadium, Jammu, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from across the district.
DPS Jammu students bagged an impressive tally of 8 Gold, 9 Silver, and 8 Bronze medals across various age categories. Notable winners included Zayafat John (VIII-I) and Saanvi Grover (X-A), who each secured two Gold medals, while Rajanya Khajuria (IX-H) earned both Gold and Silver. Young talents like Vihaan Chowdhary (I-G), Parth Gupta (Prep-D) and Mridul Jungral (V-E) also struck Gold in their respective events.
Adding to the pride, Parth Slathia, the school’s skating coach, clinched a Gold medal in the Inline Hockey Event, further exemplifying the school’s sporting excellence.
