JAMMU, Oct 27: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu excelled at the CBSE North Zone-II Roller Skating Tournament 2025 held recently in Gurgaon, securing multiple medals across categories and reaffirming the school’s strong presence in competitive sports.
Saanvi Grover (Class X-A) emerged as a top performer with a Gold Medal in the U-17 (500 m) and a Silver Medal in the U-17 (1000 m) event. Viraaj Gandotra (Class VIII-B) secured a Silver Medal in the U-14 (1000 m), while Pratyaksha Gupta (Class XII-E) won a Bronze Medal in the U-19 One Lap Road category. All medallists received Certificates of Merit from CBSE for their performance.
The School’s Management, including president Ajatshatru Singh, pro vice chairperson Dr Ritu Singh, Director S S Sodhi and Principal Ruchi Chabra acknowledged the role of Coach Parth Slathia in guiding the team. They emphasized the continuing focus of DPS Jammu on sports as an integral part of holistic education and expressed confidence in the students’ potential to achieve higher milestones in upcoming national and international competitions, in keeping with the school’s motto “Service Before Self.”
