JAMMU, Oct 11: The Girls’ Basketball Team of Delhi Public School Jammu clinched Gold Medal in Slam Jam Challenge Basketball Tournament, organized by Shaurya International School, Jammu.
In a thrilling final match, Team DPS Jammu emerged victorious by defeating Air Force School Jammu with a score of 28-16 in U-17 category.
The winning team members were Gunsheen Kour (XI-G), Vibhuti Mahajan (X-E), Priyanshi Gupta (XI-E), Ajiti Kikloo (X-C), Bisman Kour (X-B), Anshra Iftikhar (IX-B), Parneet Kour (IX-B), Gurmannat Kour (IX-A), Aadhya Choudhary (IX-C), Avni Dubey (VIII-J), Kavya Gupta (VIII-H) and Yashica Gupta (VIII-C).
Gunsheen Kour was awarded the Best Shooter Award, while Vibhuti Mahajan was honoured with the Most Valuable Player Award.
The management of DPS Jammu, under the leadership of President-RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Dr. Ritu Singh, Director, S.S Sodhi along with Principal, Ruchi Chabra and the dedicated staff, congratulated the winning team and Coach Shaktish Kumar Chopra.
