SAMBA, Apr 1: The NCC Unit of Dogra Degree College, in collaboration with the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Amphalla, Jammu, organized a motivational lecture on “Defence Forces (Officer Level)” at the College Auditorium. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and dignitaries.
The program commenced with best wishes from Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman Dogra Education Trust (DET) followed by Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, DET, who motivated students to consider careers in the armed forces. Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College, delivered the welcome address, stressing the importance of youth in national defense.
Col. Abhay Sharma, Director Recruiting, ARO, delivered an inspiring lecture on career opportunities, selection processes, and training in the Defence Forces. His speech encouraged students to build physical and mental resilience. The interactive Q&A session with Col. Sharma was highly engaging. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Gulshan Sharma, CTO/ANO, NCC, DDC.
