JAMMU, Oct 29: The two-day District Tennis Ball Cricket Championship 2025 concluded at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar, here today with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. The event was organized by the District Tennis Ball Cricket Association under the aegis of J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association.
Over 18 teams from various schools and academies participated across Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories. APS Akhnoor emerged champions in the Under-19 category by 12 runs. IDPS Stars clinched the Under-17 title by beating KC International by 8 runs, while IDPS Juniors won the Under-14 category by 5 runs.
The closing ceremony was graced by Shiv Kumar Sharma (DIG JSK Range) as chief guest, with Hemanshu Mahajan and Puneet Arora as special guests. The championship, conducted under the supervision of Gulshan Rattan and his team, emphasized promoting sports culture, discipline, and youth development. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, officials and supporters.
