POONCH, Aug 10: District Poonch Taekwondo Championship under the theme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ organised by District Poonch Taekwondo Association under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd) in collaboration with J&K Excise Department and Christ School Poonch commenced at Poonch. Around 200 young budding Taekwondo players of Taekwondo from different clubs and institutions of district Poonch are going to participate in this event.
The chief guest of the opening ceremony was Mohd Arif, Excise Inspector Poonch accompanied by Premprakash Luthra (Retd) District Youth Services and Sports officer as guest of honour.
All the bouts were held under the technical supervision of Ashaq Hussain, Vishvas Sudan, Toseef Tahir and Mohd Qasim, all national players and district referees.
