SRINAGAR, July 15: The District Srinagar Carrom Association, in collaboration with the J&K Carrom Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, is set to organize the District Srinagar Carrom Championship 2025-26 on July 29 and 30 at Carrom Hall, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.
The event is being held as part of the J&K Sports Council’s “My Youth My Pride” initiative, aimed at promoting indoor sports among youth. The championship will feature competitions in four categories-Cadet (Under 12), Sub-Junior (Under 14), Junior (Under 18) and Senior (Open)-for both boys and girls, as well as men and women. The matches will be conducted under the official rules of the International Carrom Federation, ensuring high standards of play and fair competition. All interested players, schools and colleges are requested to send their entries via email by July 27, including details such as Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, Address, and Contact Number. Additionally, to encourage regular practice and skill development, the association invites players to attend daily carrom coaching classes held at 3 pm at Carrom Hall, Bakshi Stadium.
