SHOPIAN, Dec 27: District Shopian Carrom Association, under the aegis of the Jammu & Kashmir Carrom Association, has announced the District Shopian Carrom Championship, scheduled to be held on December 29 and 30 at Batpora Sports Stadium, Shopian.
The Championship will feature competitions for boys and girls, men and women, across four categories: Under-12 (Cadet), Under-14 (Sub-Junior), Under-18 (Junior) and Senior. The event is being organized under the ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative of the J&K Sports Council.
Interested players, schools, colleges, clubs and institutions have been invited to register by submitting details including name, parentage, address, date of birth, institution, gender and contact number. Registrations can be sent via email to jkcarrom@gmail.com.
