REASI, Dec 8: The two-day District Reasi Wushu Championship, organized by the District Reasi Wushu Association under the aegis of the Wushu Association of J&K, at the Indoor Stadium in Reasi. Over 300 athletes from various clubs and schools participated in the championship.
MLA Katra, Kuldeep Raj Dubbey, was the chief guest and presented medals and trophies to the winners. Jawhar Pandita, Principal of Gurkul Higher Secondary School, Reasi, and Pooja Ishwer, Principal of Devs Kids International School, were the guests of honour. The guests praised the efforts of the organizers and encouraged the young athletes to continue excelling in the sport.
The event was attended by General Secretary Arti Devi, Organizing Secretary Rattan Singh, and Jhamir Singh. Other notable guests included Adersh Sharma, Mohan Thakur, Mohan Singh, Kulveer Singh, and Mahesh Singh. The championship was a great success, showcasing the talent and dedication of the participants.
