POONCH, Mar 25: The District Poonch Gymnastics Association, in collaboration with the J&K Gymnastics Association organized the first-ever District Gymnastics Championship for both boys and girls at the Indoor Hall of Sports Stadium, Poonch. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 60 young gymnasts.
The valedictory function was attended by Mushtaq Ahmed, Incharge Manager of Sports Stadium Poonch, as the chief guest. Pawan Sharma, Zakir Hussain, Ram Parkash were the guest of honours.
Prominent sports personalities, including Rohit Sharma, Navjot Singh, Richa Bali, Ameet Singh, Owais, Sourab Sharma and Pervaiz Afridi were also present at the event. The event was conducted under the guidance of Nirdosh Kumar Sharma, Secretary of the Gymnastics Association, Poonch.
The District Poonch Gymnastics Association expressed its gratitude to the J&K Gymnastics Association especially Kiran Wattal, President of J&K Gymnastics Association for their financial and logistical support.
