POONCH, Aug 1: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS), Poonch, today organized the District Level All Age Group (AAG) Taekwondo Trials-cum-Selection, as part of its Activity Calendar 2025-26. The event took place under the overall supervision of DYSSO Mohd Qasim and was coordinated by Vijay Kumar PEM, Activity Incharge Poonch.
Sunil Sharma, President of the Bar Association Poonch, inaugurated the event as chief guest. He urged participants to uphold sportsmanship and strive for excellence at the state and national levels.
Rajinder Singh, National Referee (YSS), conducted the matches with the support of officials Jatinderpal Sharma (PET), Sandeep Kumar (PET), Waqar (REK), and Devinderpal Singh.
Winners from the competition will represent District Poonch at the upcoming Inter-District Divisional Level Taekwondo Championship to be held in district Doda. Prominent attendees included Muzaffar Iqbal (REK), Pinky, and Prabjot Kour.
