KUPWARA, Mar 16: The District Kupwara Taekwondo Championship 2025-26 was held at the Indoor Sports Hall, Handwara. Organized by the Taekwondo Association of District Kupwara under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council, the event saw participation from around 70 players (boys and girls) from various clubs and schools across the district.
Nearly 50 spectators attended to support the athletes. The closing ceremony was graced by chief guest Kehkashan Bashir (PEL), along with guest of honour Nahida and special guest Ajaz Ahmad. Medals and mementos were distributed to winners, officials and guests.
