KUPWARA, Apr 14: The District Kupwara Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, will organize the District Kupwara Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2025-26 on April 21-22 at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Handwara.
The two-day event aims to promote Ball Badminton and provide a platform for young talent in the region.
The organiser said entries are invited from affiliated clubs, schools and colleges across Kupwara. Interested participants must submit entries by April 20 via WhatsApp/SMS to 7006053791. Required documents include a photocopy of the Aadhaar card and two passport-size photos. No on-spot entries will be accepted.
The tournament will follow BBFI rules and include match draws on April 21 at 11:00 am. Top players will be selected to represent Kupwara at the UT-level championship. Officials from J&K Ball Badminton Association and Sports Council will oversee the event.
