KATHUA, May 25: The District Kathua Rollball Championship 2025 was organized by District Kathua Rollball Association at Delhi Public School, Raj Bagh. The event, originally scheduled for May 8-9, was postponed due to Operation Sindoor and conducted on May 22. Around 100 players from across the district took part in the competition.
Matches were played under the supervision of senior national player Manvijay Singh Salathia, assisted by Vishali Bagal, Suvidha Sareen, Prabhal Singh and Antriksh Mahajan. Joginder Singh from the J&K Sports Council acted as the official observer.
In the Under-17 category, DPS Kathua won gold by defeating Kathua Stadium. In the Sub-Junior section, Rolling Smasher Club secured gold, followed by Silver Club and Alfa Club. In the Mini section, Kathua Green took gold, beating Kathua Red, while Kathua Blue claimed third place. Ex-MLA Kanta Andotra distributed the prizes.
