District Kabaddi C’ship concludes

SRINAGAR, Mar 31: The District Amateur Kabaddi Championship for the 2025-2026 Session concluded today at Indoor Stadium, Ellahi Bagh, Srinagar. The championship saw enthusiastic participation from young players across the district in Sub-Junior and Junior categories for both boys and girls, highlighting the growing popularity of Kabaddi at the grassroots level.
The event was graced by Nazir Ahmad as the chief guest and Iqbal, Manager, Indoor Stadium Ellahi Bagh, as the guest of honour. The championship was organized by Gulzar Ahmad, Secretary, District Srinagar Kabaddi Association.
In Sub-Junior Boys, RP School Zakura, Srinagar, claimed the title, while Islamic Global School, Padshahi Bagh, finished runner-up. Junior Boys winners were Imamia Public School, Dal Lake, with New R.P School Zakura as runner-up. Sub-Junior and Junior Girls titles went to R.P School Lawaypora, with Firdous Educational Institute and New R.P School Zakura as respective runners-up.
