District Jammu shines in Rope Skipping

JAMMU, Aug 30: District Jammu claimed gold in all three events of Rope Skipping including Speed 30 seconds, Endurance 3 minutes and Team Relay 4×30 seconds in the divisional Level Inter-District Rope Skipping Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, as part of annual calendar of activities.
In Speed 30 seconds, Danish Sharma of Jammu claimed gold, while Kewal Kumar of Kishtwar and Arvind Kumar of Doda clinched silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Endurance 3 minutes, Akshit Ghai of Jammu bagged gold while the silver and bronze medals went to Rakesh Kumar and Manoj Kumar of Districts Doda and Kishtwar respectively.
Meanwhile, in Team Relay 4×30 seconds, Paras Sharma, Krishi Gupta and Gaurav Singh of Jammu bagged gold.
