JAMMU, Dec 13: The 8th District Jammu Kickboxing Championship, organized by the Jammu District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of the Kickboxing Association of Jammu & Kashmir, concluded with a valedictory function at the Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
The three-day Championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 350 players representing various schools, clubs, and colleges across the district. Shiksha Niketan School emerged as the overall champion, securing the overall trophy across different age groups.
The closing ceremony was graced by Rajat Sharma, Managing Director, Unique Voice, as the chief guest, who presented medals to the winners. He was accompanied by Sahi Choudhary (renowned businessman) and Gaurav Chopra (vice president, Kickboxing Association J&K) as special guests.
Addressing the gathering, Abhishek Jain, general secretary, Kickboxing Association J&K, highlighted the efforts of the Jammu District Kickboxing Association, Irfan Choudhary (organizing secretary) and Sudarshan Singh (Senior Coach, Kickboxing Association J&K) in successfully conducting the championship.
