District Jammu Cycling C’ship culminates

JAMMU, Oct 26: The Cycling Association of Jammu & Kashmir (CAJK), under the supervision of the J&K Sports Council and the Cycling Federation of India, conducted the District Jammu Cycling Championship 2025 at MA Stadium. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation across multiple categories, including Elite, U-18, U-16, U-14, MTB and Girls, highlighting the endurance, strength and competitive spirit of both young and senior cyclists.
In the Elite (Open) category, Anish Dubey secured 1st place, followed by Amey Chourey and Vivaan Jandial. In the Junior category, Anurag Kapoor won gold, with Kirtan Saini and Bhannu Partap Singh claiming silver and bronze respectively. Under-14 Boys saw Sabeel Malik take the top spot, followed by Mrityunjay Gupta and Shivay Raina.
The winners will represent District Jammu in the upcoming State Cycling Championship. The event was graced by Dr. Arvinder Singh, Om Parkash Sharma, Ravi Salgotra, S.S. Gill, Surinder Mohan and Shiv Kumar Sharma, who encouraged participants and praised their dedication. CAJK lauded all winners, participants, officials, and volunteers for their support and efforts.
