JAMMU, Dec 27: The District Jammu Ball Badminton Championship 2025-26 concluded at Iqra International School, Bathandi, Jammu. Organized by the District Jammu Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association under the J&K Sports Council initiative, the two-day tournament saw participation from 12 teams and 120 players representing schools, colleges, institutions, and clubs across District Jammu.
The awards distribution ceremony marked the end of the championship, with medals presented to the winners and runner-up teams. Balvinder Singh, President of Refugee BJP J&K, served as the chief guest, while Keshav Chopra, Chairman of Sambandina Society, Sadiqa Hafiz, Principal of Iqra International School and Majid Khan, social worker, were special guests. Organizing Secretary Naveen Chandel and other members of the J&K Ball Badminton Association distributed the awards.
