SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Jammu and Kashmir Baseball Association will conduct three days long District Baseball Championships at all its affiliate units, commencing with the Championship at District Pulwama from October 26, 2015.
“The Championships are open for all age-groups. Both boys and girls can participate in it,” general secretary JKBA, Fida Hussain Fidvi said.
He said all the affiliated clubs and teams from different educational institutions of the respective districts have been advised to register themselves in the Championship and for registration they have to approach organizing secretaries at the respective places.
The Championship at Pulwama will be followed by the Championship at Baramulla from October 29 to October 31, which will be followed by the Championship at Anantnag from November 1 to November 3 and in Srinagar from November 4 to November 7, 2015.
The Championship at Ganderbal will be held from November 4 to November 7 and at Budgam from November 8 to November 10 to be followed by the Championships at Jammu, Udhampur and Poonch, from November 2 to 4; November 5 to 7 and November 12 to 14 respectively.
The 10th State Championship will be held at Srinagar from November 23 to November 28, 2015.
The Championship will be held under the supervision of Mushtaq Ahmad, Sports Officer Kashmir (JKSSC) and under the aegis of Amateur Baseball Federation of India and will be sponsored by the J&K State Sports Council.
