REASI, Dec 28: A two-day long Reasi District Athletic Championship concluded at SMVD Sports Complex Katra, here today which was organized by District Athletic Association in collaboration with the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra.
Vipin Bhagat, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of SMVDSB Katra was chief guest while Jatinder Sharma, Nodal Officer of SMVD Sports Complex was the guest of honour on this occasion. In the championship athletes from across the district participated and showcased their skills in various events.
The results were in Girls U-14- 60 meters; Neha (SMVD) gold, Nancy (SMVD) silver and Supriya (SMVD) bronze. U-16; Sunakahi Thakur (SMVD) won Gold. U-18 100 meters- Renu (Agahr) Gold; 200 meters Renu (SMVD) Gold, Sonia (SMVD) Silver. 400 meters- Sakshi (Reasi) gold, 800 meters- Sakshi Thakur (SMVD) gold, U20- Shivani Thakur (SMVD) gold .Open Category- Tanvi (SMVD) Gold.
In Boys- U-14- 60 meters Harish Mohd (SMVD) gold, Ayaz Ahmed (Reasi) Silver, Hazufa (Reasi) bronze. 600 meters- Rahil Manhas (Gold) and Harish Mohd (Silver), 60 meters U-16; Gourav Roy (SMVD) Gold, Tanish Singh (SMVD) Silver, Bal Krishan (Reasi) Bronze. 600 meters Tanish Singh ( SMVD) Gold, Aryan Sharma (SMVD) Silver and Ayushmaan Singh (SMVD) Bronze.
U-18- Boys- 3000 meters- Ajay Kumar (SMVD) Gold, Amit Dubey (SMVD) silver, Shallu Ram Bronze.1000 meters- Danish (Reasi) gold, Rajveer (Reasi) Silver, 800 meters- Ajay Kumar (SMVD) gold.400 meters- Dheeraj (SMVD) gold, Rajbir (SMVD) Silver. 200 meters- Jatin Kumar (Reasi) gold, Sudesh Kumar (Reasi) silver, 400 meters- Dheeraj Kotwal (Reasi) Gold, Open 100 meters- Vijay Kumar (Gold), Raman Kumar.

U-14 Boys- Rahil Manhas Seri Bangal. (Gold), Harish (Silver) and Manik (Katra) Bronze. U-18 Shot-put- Sunil Kumar (Aghar) gold, Jasvinder Singh (Silver), Dheeraj (Reasi) bronze. The event was coordinated by Rahul Bakshi and officiated by coach Rishi Kumar (SMVD), Jaydeep Kumar (SMVD) and Anandit Kumar (Vidya Bhjarti).
