Display Your Talent 2025 – Devika Zone concludes

UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: University of Jammu concluded the Display Your Talent 2025 – Devika Zone (Udhampur– Reasi) festival at Udhampur Campus, celebrating creativity, talent and cultural diversity among students of affiliated colleges. Organized by the Department of Students Welfare under Prof. Prakash C. Anthal, Dean Students Welfare, the festival is part of the University’s vision, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai, to bring cultural activities closer to students across the Jammu region.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Saloni Rai, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, who praised the confidence, creativity and discipline of participants and emphasized the role of cultural platforms in fostering unity, ethics, and positive engagement among youth. Prof. Yash Pal Sharma, Rector Udhampur Campus and Prof. Monika Chadda highlighted the success of the decentralized zonal approach, ensuring participation from remote areas.
In Elocution, Braniya Singh from Bhartiya College of Education won first place, followed by Rashpal Singh from Udhampur Campus and Aman Preet Singh from GDC Udhampur. In Debate, Amandeep and Bhumika from GDC Udhampur secured first position, Manyata from Bhaskar College was second and Rashpal and Diksha Block from Udhampur Campus finished third.
Rangoli saw Sungadita Pandita of Bhartiya College of Education at the top, followed by Nidman Arif (GDC Chenani) and Vishali Bharti (GCW Chenani). In Clay Modelling, Pankaj (Udhampur Campus) won first, Sunakshi (Udhampur Campus) second.
In Group Folk Dance, GCW Udhampur emerged first, GDC Udhampur second and Udhampur Campus third. Mime was won by GCW Udhampur, with Udhampur Campus second. GCW Udhampur also claimed first in Mimicry (Mamta) and Skit, with Ritika and Udhampur Campus taking second and third respectively. One Act Play was led by GCW Udhampur, while Creative Choreography went to Udhampur Campus. The festival concluded with prize distribution.
