DIG presents sports kits

JAMMU, Apr 17: In order to aware the youth about the ill-effects of drugs, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) under Civic Action Programme today held a meeting and framed Balmiki Youth Club, which was joined by over 100 youths.
The club members prepared a small ground for sports activity.
DIG Jammu-Kathua range Shakeel Ahmed Beig presented sports kits of cricket and football to club members in a function held at Gandhi Nagar police station.
While speaking, DIG advised them to shunt-out drugs from the colony and take keen interest in studies.
At the end, President of the Balmiki Colony presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were officiating SSP Rajeshwar Singh, SDPO South Udhay Bhaskar Billa, SHO Gandhi Nagar, staff of police station Gandhi Nagar and members of Balmiki Youth Club.
