DIG inaugurates 16th District Badminton Championship

Srinagar, Sept 10: DIG Central Kashmir Syed Afad-ul- Mujtaba today inaugurated the 16th district Badminton Championship at Indoor stadium, here today.
The championship is being organized by Srinagar Police in collaboration with Sports Council. Sixteen teams from different schools of Srinagar are competing in the championship.
DIG , Mujtaba in his inaugural address said that sports plays an important role for maintaining a robust fitness level among our youth. He impressed upon the participants to take part in sports activities as it has a significant role in building a healthy future Sr. Superintendent of Police, Srinagar SAH Bukhari said that the event has been organized in collaboration with the Sports Council and sixteen teams from different schools are going to compete in the championship.
