JAMMU, Aug 16: Police Public School Miran Sahib was declared best in their performance during the cultural programme organized in Parade Ground on the occasion of Independence Day function.
Shakeel Ahmed Beig, DIG Jammu Range and Ajit Kumar Sahu, DC Jammu while congratulating the team said that school was declared best by dint of hard work put in by the Principal, all the staff members of Police Public School and the keen interest shown by the students.
About 175 students participated in the said show which was titled as “a Tribute to the Martyrs”.
All the dignitaries who attended the function appreciated the said cultural show. The cultural team was well prepared under the close supervision/guidance of Administrative Officer Shakeel Ahmed Beig, Principal Kiran Raina, Amita Goswami and Nisha Jasotra music teachers.
Apart from the cultural programme, two contingents of boys and girls of J&K Police Public School also participated in the March-past. The J&K Police Public School also in the early morning held a flag hosting function in the school premises which was held first time since the inception of school.
Among the other participating teams cultural teams of Hr. Secondary School Mubarak Mandi and Girls High Secondary School Canal Road stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Jury members who judged the performance of the cultural teams were Soujanya Sharma Director Tourism, Vijay Kumar Commandant IRP 10th BN and Shehnaz Akhter, ACG Jammu.
