DIET organizes Science Exhibition

UDHAMPUR, Oct 20: District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Udhampur, organized 5th District Level Science Exhibition at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
The main theme of the exhibition was Science and Society, while the six sub themes included Industry, Natural Resource and Conservation, Transport and Communication, Information and Educational Technology, Community Health and Environment and Mathematics Modelling.
Director School Education, GA Qureshi was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who while speaking stressed upon the teaching community to encourage more and more students to participate in such programmes.
SK Gandotra, Joint Director, DSE Jammu was the guest of honour, while Principal DIET, Paramjeet Singh was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, GMS Manthal, GMS Boys Jakhani and GMS Girls Jakhani claimed 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively, while the consolation prizes were bagged by GMS Omara, GGMS Basolla and GMS Jib.
