Diamond, RS Pura, Arnia Cricket Clubs enter QFs

JAMMU, Mar 20: Diamond Cricket Club, R S Pura Cricket Club and Arnia Cricket Club qualified for the quarterfinals in the ongoing T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by J&K Police, District Jammu under the aegis of Civic Action Programme at S Bana Singh Stadium, R S Pura, here.
In first match played today, Diamond Cricket Club thrashed Star Cricket Club. Mandeep of Diamond CC was declared as man of the match.
In 2nd match, Arnia Cricket Club defeated Shivaji Cricket Club and the man of the match was declared Aman of Arnia Cricket Club, for his splendid performance.
In another match, R S Pura Cricket Club defeated Badyal Brahmna Cricket Club in a one-sided affair.  Chotu of R.S.Pura CC was adjudged as man of the match
The CAP activities are being undertaken under the supervision of S.Randheer Singh, SP Hqrs. Jammu, S. Devinder Singh, SDPO R.S.Pura and Inspr. Abid Rafiqui SHO P/S R.S.Pura with a view to encourage the youths to take part in the sports related activities.
