JAMMU, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a felicitation ceremony at the Officers’ Mess, Jammu, to honour the J&K Deaf Cricket Team and Para Judo medallists for their outstanding achievements. The event was presided over by DGP Nalin Prabhat, who was joined by senior police officers, athletes and coaches.
MK Sinha, ADG HQ, lauded the athletes for their grit, teamwork, and exceptional performances, emphasizing the growing prominence of deaf and para sports in the Union Territory.
The athletes, along with their coaches and support staff, were felicitated with mementos in recognition of their achievements. DGP Nalin Prabhat personally interacted with each sportsperson, congratulating them and wishing them further success on national and international platforms.
Among the dignitaries present were SJM Gillani, Spl DG Coordination; Garib Dass, Director SKPA; Alok Kumar, DG Fire & Emergency Services and Anand Jain, ADG Armed Police.
