Deshmesh Club to lock horns with Singh Club in hockey final

JAMMU, Feb 13: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinal clashes, Deshmesh Hockey Club and Singh Hockey Club Fareed Nagar have qualified for the finals of the ongoing hockey tournament, being organized under Civic Action Programme at HS Simbal Camp, here
In the first semifinal, Deshmesh Hockey Club trounced Police Public School Miransahib by a solitary goal and the goal scorer was Karanjeet Singh, who netted it in 68th minute of the match.
In another semifinal, Singh Hockey Club Fareed Nagar defeated Hockey XI Baba Singh stadium by three goals to two (3-2).
The matches were officiated by Ameerjeet Singh, Jagmeet Singh, Iqbal Singh and Satvir Singh and were technically supported by Charanjeet Singh , Manpreet Singh , Parshotam singh and Karanjeet Singh.
The final will be played on February 15, 2015 at the same venue.
